Please take this opportunity to complete the annual ConnectCarolina & InfoPorte 2018 Survey. We’re eager to hear what you think is working, what isn’t, what additional information you need from either system, and what features you hope we’ll develop.
Your feedback is valuable for the ConnectCarolina team and will help us prioritize projects to address your top concerns during 2019. The survey will remain open until end-of-business on Wednesday, November 7th.
Last year, more than 1,300 faculty and staff members completed the 2017 ConnectCarolina and InfoPorte Feedback Survey. The feedback ranged far and wide, touching on most parts of ConnectCarolina and InfoPorte. You told us about many things you liked, such as getting your tax forms and pay stub from the Self Service menu, eProcurement and vouchers. But you also said there were “too many clicks” in ConnectCarolina and InfoPorte, and “navigating isn’t intuitive.” Others of you said you weren’t confident of the data in InfoPorte, and you needed better grants reporting.
Your input helped guide us in prioritizing projects to focus on during 2018. For example, we created a revamped dashboard for principal investigators to pull essential grant information onto one page. We created a faculty portal that lets faculty members access teaching and research information from the home page of ConnectCarolina. Work is underway to implement new features that simplify navigation for staff as well. We need your input to help us make ConnectCarolina and InfoPorte better.
