If you manage financial information for sponsored projects, you can look forward to a new tool to help track and report financial information. The new Research Administration Management (RAM) Reports were developed through a partnership with the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR) and Information Technology Services (ITS). The information in the RAM reports is pulled directly from ConnectCarolina and RAMSeS and is one day behind ConnectCarolina.
The RAM Reports offer campus and central offices the same view of financial data. Having one report to look at will improve transparency and streamline the processes involved in financial monitoring and reporting for contracts and grants. A few highlights of the RAM Reports:
- provides intuitive navigation,
- access to financial information at both the project and award levels,
- ability to drill into detailed transactions on all expenses, and
reports are downloadable to Excel.
