The Student Requirements Dashboard tile serves as the go-to site for students to check to see if they’ve completed all the tasks and requirements allowing them to participate fully in Spring 2021 activities.

It went live in mid-December, and during these first few weeks of January, student traffic on the Dashboard has been particularly heavy. We thought we’d share an update on that activity.

  • The majority of students planning to return to campus completed their COVID-19 Testing Requirement by January 6. We expect another surge in testing activity five days prior to February 8, the new date for the start of on-campus classes.
  • There were more than 5000 uploads of test results as of January 15.
  • Most students confirmed their physical address and home number for spring term.
  • The majority of students agreed they would adhere to UNC COVID-19 Community Standards acknowledging that, on or off campus, our individual actions help protect our Carolina community.

For more information on the Student Requirements Dashboard, read the article in our December 2020 Newsletter or visit the Carolina Together web page. Outside of the Dashboard, an article about the Class Features page introduced for Spring 2021 enrollment was written up in a leading higher education publication. For more information, read the article published in the January 7, 2021 issue of the Chronical of Higher Education https://www.chronicle.com/newsletter/teaching/2021-01-07.
