This class is a hands-on, deep-dive into the HR area of InfoPorte, exploring the Employee, Positions, Payroll, and Reporting features.

You must have your own access in order to participate in the class – we cannot use generic login IDs.

Request InfoPorte access from your InfoPorte Administrator. To find your InfoPorte Administrator, navigate to InfoPorte.unc.edu. Click on Tools > Data Dictionary > General Info, then download and open the Infoporte Admin/Access Request Coordinator list. Once you know who your InfoPorte Administrator is, download, complete, and send them the Infoporte Access Request Form, which is also available on this page.

Please bring sample Project IDs, Department IDs, and Account numbers that you normally have access to so you can run reports and complete the class exercises.

To register for Reporting classes:

HR Officers and MOU Leads: Please identify who would benefit from the Finance Training for Business Manager, HR /Payroll Training for Business Managers and HR Staff, or both and send those names to Cindy Cadman (cindy.cadman@unc.edu).

If the participants’ date and time preferences haven’t already been communicated, Cindy will work with them to register for the class that works with their schedule. Class location will be included in registration confirmation.
