As part of the Fall 2018 census activities, there will be an outage of the Student Administration component of ConnectCarolina on Wednesday, September 5th, starting at 5:00pm and ending around 12:00am. Census is the official date the University reports enrollment.  Faculty, students and staff will NOT be able to access any ConnectCarolina Student Administration functionality.  Finance functions are NOT affected by this outage, but the ePAR hire form for HR/Payroll is affected, as are some services related to Onyen, PID and Guest ID. During the September 5th outage, these ConnectCarolina applications may experience limited or no functionality: Student Administration Third-Party Proxy Access ePAR hire form TouchNet (students and third-party proxies cannot pay bills; applicants cannot pay enrollment deposits) Some Guest ID and Onyen update services PID Create UNC Directory (lookups available but not updates) Friday Center Applications (CPPSReg, PDEPReg, CEU, FCCPS)

You need to have your mobile device and PID available. We recommend downloading the DUO Security app from your phone’s app store for the smoothest 2-Step experience. Set Up an Authorized User If your parents, guardians or another party pay your bills, they must be set up as Authorized User to access Student Financials. This keeps your banking information safe. Authorized Users do not need to set-up 2-Step Verification; however, they cannot use student Onyen credentials to access ConnectCarolina.
