Come to this session to ask a panel questions about CBM, Bill Presentation, or about billing processes to include enhancement recommendations or how-to questions. If you use any part of ConnectCarolina except SelfService, then starting May 23, you’ll be required to use 2-Step/Duo to access ConnectCarolina. That means if you enter grades, submit ePARs, conduct performance evaluations, buy from the vendor catalogs, or any other transactions, you’ll need to verify with 2-Step/Duo to get in to ConnectCarolina. The good news is that you may have already set up 2-Step Verification with Duo in order to access VPN or your W-2. If you haven’t already, now is the time to register for 2-Step Verification. Visit onyen.unc.edu and click on “2-Step Verification for Duo.”  You’ll need your PID and mobile phone to complete registration. Pro Tip: During registration, be ready to set up a preferred method and a back-up option. That way, if you lose your phone or leave it at home, you’ll have an alternate way to authenticate your accounts. If you’ve already registered, don’t worry, you can add a back-up method at any time. Pro Tip: If you get a new phone, you will need to register it. You can find instructions on https://help.unc.edu/help/duo/ How does this impact your daily work? When you click the Log in to ConnectCarolina & InfoPorte green button, you will see the Duo screen to complete 2-Step … Read more

There is no downtime or outage associated with this update. The Changes We‘ve simplified the page layout and made it is easier to navigate. The links work the same as they do now. Only the look is different. Looking for the InfoPorte link? It’s in ConnectCarolina under Enterprise Reporting on the left . For Students The first column is for students and their proxy users. Like today, students will click the big green button to get to the ConnectCarolina Student Center, and once in ConnectCarolina, everything will work the same as it does now. Parents or others can pay bills or see student info by clicking the blue buttons in the lower left.  (As always, students first need to give them access.) Click the first link under the green button, Useful Links for Students to go to a friendlier version of the page … Read more
