Plans are underway for the second ConnectCarolina User Conference, a day of sharing and learning more about the systems that we work in everyday: ConnectCarolina, InfoPorte and other University Systems integrated with ConnectCarolina.

Over the last several months, more than 1,600 faculty members started using the new Faculty Portal in ConnectCarolina. The Faculty Portal is a new home page that makes it easier to find teaching and research information.

To keep sensitive information safe, the University uses a security method called 2-Step Verification. With this method, you verify that “you’re you” before you see certain sensitive information. Enrolling in 2-Step takes just 10 minutes and helps keep you and UNC secure.

Have you heard that a redesigned PI Dashboard is rolling out in September? Based on feedback and requests from principal investigators across campus, the new dashboard provides a snapshot of grant funding and expenses, including salary projections at both the award level and the project level.
